"Love is the driving force of the world." It's not just an aphorism.
It is the idea behind every action of solidarity towards others, as well as the common thread that defined the first Dinner For Love, the solidarity dinner organized on Tuesday, September 15, by Cremonese goalkeeper Enrico Alfonso in the splendid setting of Agriturismo "Le Campagnole" in Milzano, in the province of Brescia.
Enrico brought together footballer friends and some of the most important entrepreneurs in the Brescia area to enjoy a gala night with a magical and emotional atmosphere, where the guest of honor was Tito Malgioglio, the historic former goalkeeper of Brescia who has always dedicated himself to helping the weakest and who perfectly embodies the idea of love as the cornerstone of virtuous relationships between people.
Heart and Spirit: our participation
We at Spirito immediately understood that we had to participate as sponsors of this extraordinary initiative. This is because every euro collected during the evening was destined to finance the projects of aRenBì Onlus, a non-profit association which, since 2012, has combined sport, collecting, and charity in favor of the weakest.
Our goal was, therefore, to encourage as much as possible the race of generosity between entrepreneurs and protagonists of the soccer world present at the event, giving our contribution to the realization of the project at the base of Dinner for Love: to buy equipment for children suffering from dystrophies and help the neediest families in the area.
To the great satisfaction of all those present, between a greeting and a toast, the charity auction with the jerseys, shorts, and shoes of some of the best players in Serie A as prizes (the likes of Ronaldo, Buffon, Chiellini, Tonali, to name but a few) managed to raise thousands of euros, confirming the absolute success of the evening which, we hope, will be repeated soon and which will certainly see us once again in the front line to support this wonderful initiative.
